Saving the world in 365 days – day 1 part 2 + 3

Part 2
*Haa.. Suu.. *
(the sound of inhaling and exhaling)
I was readied my breath. I am now going to jump. Maybe my body is enhanced and gained superhuman strength.

“Hyatt! ”
I was shouting like kam*n rider and making a cool jump pose.

My body is lifted from the ground.

5 cm..10 cm..15 cm..20 cm..25 cm..30 cm..35 cm..30 cm..25 cm..
..
Darn it. It doesn’t have any difference from my regular jump.
” Maybe it’s not the jump. ”
Then I kneeled on the ground making a sprinter pose.
3..2..1..

I ran on the field where I was landed. It was a grasslands with the size of a soccer field.
*swish*
However my speed is about the same. I ran 100m in 15 seconds.

If it wasn’t the speed, maybe it was my stamina.

I ran 1 lap around the field, 2 laps, 3 laps, 4 laps, 5 laps…
*Tsuu.. Tsuu.. Tsuu.. Fiuh*
I ran 5 laps around it, which is as usual on PE class. I managed my breath to normal then thanked again.
“Maybe it wasn’t my leg that is enhanced. It was my arm! ”
Then I decided to test my arm strength, I make a strong karate form and preparing my first.
” Hyatt! ”
I punched the ground. There is no effect on the ground. No crater formed or even the soil gouged out.
” Atatatata… That hurts! ”
It was as if my first is hitting a hard rock underneath. My hands are swelling not long after.
This is getting annoying. I was transported into another world without any explanation then I wasn’t even given an enhanced physical ability. Wait, maybe I was given a tremendous magic capability.
“Fire ball! Wind blade! Earth wall! Lightning strike! Fire storm! Tempest! Earth spear! Water Lance! ”
I keep on chanting until my breath run out however nothing happened.
Maybe because I can’t accessed my skill windows that it wasn’t available for me yet. I think I should do some skill point allocation first. That should be the case with my physical ability too. My strength wasn’t enhanced and I can’t use magic because I haven’t allocated the points. So, for now it is better for me to find someone from this world. They should be able to teach me something.

So the first thing I should do is now to find someone. However as far as I can see around me, there is only a grasslands and the forest.
“Which way should I go? ”
At time like this is the best time to use my modern times knowledge. Firstly I take a tree branch from nearby. Secondly I make it stand on the ground with my hands on the tip. Thirdly, I let it fall to the ground.
” Alright, it fall that way. ”
Fourth, follow the path pointed by the tree.

Of course without having any map, GPS on my phone, or a magnet to show north and south, relying on luck is the best choice.

After some moments heading to that direction with light step, it turned heavy after I didn’t have any encounter for almost an hour.
*Gyuu*
My stomach is now rambling. Taking into account the time elapsed from lunch, probably six hours have passed.
“Uuuu… I’m so hungry.. ”
Each step I take makes my stomach aching. I really need food. The way I walk right now is close to a zombie.

“Wait.. Is that a house? ”

In the distance I saw a stone house. It was pretty big and on the side there is a barn made of wood. Judging from the design, it was the same one as I saw in the history book. Probably the design was from medieval times.

Did I was taken into the past? And in the process I was transported to somewhere in the Europe? That could explain my inability to use magic or not having enhanced physical ability.

However the main thing that catches my attention is the trees on the other side of the house. From my assessment that I was taken back into the past, I don’t need to find anyone else to confirm my magic ability or status window. Right now the most important thing is dealing with my hunger. The trees on the other side bears palm sized red fruits that resembles apple.

Before long, I was already climbing the trees. It wasn’t that tall, only 2m in height and I could climb it without problem. I rested in one of the tree branch, extending my hand to reach out for one of the fruit and without any wait I take a big bite.
“Yummy! ”
I couldn’t believe it. The taste is so fresh, sweet, juicy. As if I was eating a mango with an apple texture and it was rich of water like the orange. My stomach could handle dozens of this fruit.

In the next few minutes, I was nibbling on the fruits and have eaten lots of it.
*Burp*
“Haa.. I’m full. ”
I was lying down on the branch however when I saw the stone house I immediately realized something.
” Crap! I was eating their fruits without permission. ”

Not long after I arrived here, I have turned into a fruit thief.

Part 3

The next second I saw the house I quickly jumped down and hid behind the tree. Is there someone inside the house? Will I get arrested for eating their fruits?

I was relieved after no one is coming out from the house after a few moments.
But I can’t be sure of it before I checked it myself. I walked tiptoes stealthily and trying to peek from the Windows.
I looked inside and there are only some basic furniture. More importantly, no one is there.

“Fiuh.. I’m saved. ”

Next is to check out the barn. I opened the wooden door carefully and examined the inside. Nobody is here. However my interest is piqued because of the weird animal inside.

A cowlike animal with a pink color. Sheep with blue, red and green wool. Chicken with three legs. It was like seeing animal at a bizarre zoo. It’s all because they are all caged.

I walked around the barn and see something out of place.
“Why is this cage empty and the door wide open? ”

What kind of animal could possibly inside? It was a 50 cm tall cage so it shouldn’t be a big animal right? I looked around and noticed a small white fur animal is hiding behind a barrel.

” There it is. ”

I approached it carefully. My aim is to put it back into the cage. I have eaten the farm owner fruit so at least I should pay them back this way right?

” Gotcha.. Wha wha wha wha.! ”
I catched the white furred animal but as soon as I grabbed it, it shakes it body violently and let itself free out of my hand.

” Giiiii! ”
It then turn it body and looking at me. Right now I can see it clearly. It was a rabbit like animal with a 10th long horn on the middle of its head. It’s gleaming red eyes is looking at me with anger.

This seemed to be bad but what could it do to me right? After all its just a rabbit with a horn.

The moment I said that, a white blur is moving past my cheek.
I move my hand towards my cheek and feel something. It was a warm liquid. I check my hand and it was dyed red. Is this my blood? Then a stinging pain comes from my cheek.
“It huurts!”
Darn stupid rabbit. I turned my body and look at it which is already prepared to jump at me again.

“Crap! ”
It flew in the air and I tried my best to dodge it’s attack by ducking. It missed and only managed to get some of my hair.

” You’re asking for it! ”
I ran towards the barn wall and wanted to take a farm fork which is rested there. I quickly grabbed it and turned my body.

*clang*
A high metallic sound can be heard as the fork met the rabbit horn. If I was late even just for a second, there will be a horn engraved on my chest.

“Sh*t, this rabbit is actually so scary. ”
And as the battle start to get heated up, the chicken was cuckoo-ing and the other animal causing some noises. Are they cheering for me or the rabbit?

” Giiiii! ”
” Hyaaa! ”

Our clash then continued for several minutes. My eyes is getting used to the rabbit speed and the rabbit seemed to be tired. Of course my breath has become heavy too. The decisive moment seemed to be approaching.

” Gii”
The rabbit jumped again but this time I already prepared. I swing the fork sideways as if hitting a baseball.
*clang*
It managed to block my attack but the blow was enough to send the rabbit flying. It’s body was blown back and landed inside the empty cage.
My strategy is a success. I might be a pro league player judging from my accuracy and hit placing. I quickly ran into the cage and closed the door.
*click*
I didn’t forget to lock it to make sure that it doesn’t escape anymore.

“Gii! Giiiii! ”
It seemed to be resisting but the cage hold it firmly against he rabbits struggle.

” Haha. Take that! Finally. ”

I fell down on the ground, I feel exhausted. The battle with the horned rabbit really tire me out. My body is also aching and some bruises can be seen all over my body. It wasn’t an easy victory but I feel a sense of accomplishment.

With a smile I look at the ceiling and closed my eyes. I’ll rest for now.
