Prologue

 

It is too troublesome. Every morning I have to get up and go to school. I have to listen the boring lectures all day. I have to come home and do homeworks.

 

Every single day, the same monotone life. I have no future plan. I have no motivation for anything. This life is so empty. I wish I had a more excited and less troublesome life.

 

“Very well. I shall grant your wish.”

 

That was what I heard before I died. I felt a sudden pain in my heart and my head went blank. I died because of an heart attack at the age of 16? Holy shit!

 

I thought I would go to the afterlife and directed to heaven or hell. However I was reincarnated. I was in a newborn baby body with my memories intact. Shit! This is the reincarnation I read in novels? Don’t tell me this will be a game-like world where the protagonist would be reincarnated into with a cheat ability? There is no way, right?

 

“Show status.” I said in my mind. Despite I didn’t dare to believe it, I still tried it. And a light blue status window appeared in front of me.

Sloth? What the hell is it? I concentrated on [Sloth] skill and another explanation window appeared in front of me.

 

[Sloth](Unique Skill) (Passive)  : Sloth is one of the seven deadly sins. This is a unique skill that reflects the true nature of the holder.

 

Effects :

 

1. Required Experience points for level up is ¼ of the actual value.
2. Experience points gain is 4 times of the normal value.
3. Skill proficiency speed is 4 times of the normal value.
4. Required skill proficiency for a skill or skill level up is ¼  of the actual value.
5. No restriction applied for acquiring a skill.
6. Attack and movement speed is 1/4 of the normal value.
7. Increasing Strength, Endurance, Stamina, Dexterity, Vitality stats by training is 2 times harder.
8. Objects or people can be appraised.

 

Wow! This is really a cheat skill. However the name of the skill still bothers me. I am not a lazy person. So why do I have such a skill? And the part “reflects the true nature of the holder” at the skill definition is really pissing me off.

 

Whatever, I won’t pay attention to it anymore. Even though it has some disadvantages, it could be still considered a cheat skill.

 

“%+&#$&% ?” I hear the voice a woman who I think she was my mother. I don’t understand the language of this world though. I guess she will feed me again. I don’t remember how it felt when I was a baby in my previous life, but the feeling here sucks. It is really hard to suck the breast milk from her breasts. She doesn’t have enough milk either. I am always hungry. How sad.

 

My family seems quite poor. That is the reason of my constant hunger. I was born in a shabby house. There is not much furnitures in the house. A bed, a table and two chairs. I don’t even have my own cruddle. I sleep in my parents bed.

 

Also the furnitures in the house are quite primitive. It seems like they were from medieval age from Europe. And my name also seems like an European name from my previous word. It is quite similar with many of the novels I read. The protagonist dies and reincarnates into a different world with a medieval European settings. Well, I don’t object to it though. I like medieval European. I have no issue with that. Ah, I am sleepy. I will sleep. Being a baby is hard and tiresome. Damn! I wanted a less troublesome life. But look what I get.
