Episode 5: to deprive a deprived person

Hage laughs while sending another punch towards my stomach.

I curled up while holding my stomach. Hage then continues with a kick. I used body enhance to ease the pain and reduce the damage. It seemed that Hage didn’t noticed it.

Ps: the skill name translation is snatch the same as steal but to match the title, depriver is the most suitable term hahaha..
In my terms of sense, the series is about a person who always get something taken away from him. Now he get to be the one who takes things away. The title become to take something from someone who have nothing.. Kinda like that I guess.. And his power becomes the power which took something from others.. I dunno if it only works on ability/skill we’ll find out later..

He is potentially stronger than Rou(re:monster) with this power. Steal powers from living beings. not quite a prodigy of a cheat as Satou(Death March) that gives skills from just doing things.

potentially he can be. once they both full mature, he could steal Rou’s devouring skill along with all of the other ones before fighting him. Provided he get close enough to do so. He could win the fight without needing to kill Rou to take his power. If he were strong enough, or able to trick rou, he could level the playing field against the almighty Rou. He may not be strong enough now, but with those abilities he has the chance to be a threat to him. But if rou kills and eats him which is what is required, then Rou would be absolutely invincible. Circumventing the need to eat to take power. His power is potentially invincible, stealing the powers of enemies before they even realize it.
Yeah but the range is 1 meter lol.. And he get a headache everytime he do it..
that is because he is level 1. he can gather a bunch of weak monsters and slowly gain power without even battling them. If he stole the power of complete disassembly from the MC from Shinka no mi, well gg. All of them are potential threats to the other. I think it is pretty even, rou can even eat inanimate objects to gain power, but is nerfed by having his power no longer grant anything if he were too strong for it. Seiichi gains the complete set of everything a defeat enemy ever had and takes a percent of it in. This MC can only steal skills without fighting, but he can’t absorb their actual stats. So each one have their merits. He is comparable to Rou in potential power he could gain and could possibly become stronger than anyone in the world.
Oh yeah. say he accidentally steals a bad skill with a negative effect. Like Superman’s weakness to Kryptonite. Rou could turn off that weakness and only keep the benefits.
We still doesn’t know how it work… I think he use the steal skill while designating the target skill..
Well, he can potentially steal a bad skill that may hurt him. a passive skill that can’t be turned off. I guess you can let us know for sure by translating 10 or so more chapters.
