Hi… I just dropped in to say for saturday there will be no translation since I will be attending a friend’s wedding…
And, should I continue translating the series?
At first people are complaining about how bad the grammar and stuff…
After we sorted it out, now they’re complaining about the accuracy of the translation.. It is machine translated so, it was off at some part from the real meaning..
So, I decided to drop it..

Because of that, I am looking for quality checkers…

well, you could try expert translation software like atlas, btw, if you copy your entire translated text to words, it will point out all the errors in spelling

I’m assuming you’re talking about TDADP? Well I agree with the the fact that the grammar is pretty bad, but I also think that a lot of it is just that the writing itself is kinda crappy.

The story feels.. odd..
Even if the translation was bad (which it isn’t, it’s easy to read), the actual story is written kind of poorly.
This is perhaps due to inexperience and will improve along with the author.

Grammar, leave that to the G-Nazis, most avid readers have an auto correct and auto complete app in their brains, so we barely notice some mistakes, as for the structure and phrasing… It’s always lost somewhat in a MT or even on trans-interpretation, so its just the need of an editor whci can help with the series. (And even sometimes some quality checks are needed).
So most urgent would be an editor which can help with the spell check and the awkward phrasing which happens.
i might try doing that as summer ends (Octomber period) cus im working during summer…. that is if none is found by then… also theres rambowambo helping with edits\tables stuff 😀

just gotta correct those tiny tl errors u always get (personally i always found em while reading LN and no1 complains bout them…)

Well while I can say the grammar is not that good in the translations, believe me I read english papers with worse in high school so its not that bad at all, and the original text is not perfect to start with.
Personally I enjoy reading the story and even with non-perfect grammar it’s still a easy read especially if you auto-parse while you read.
I’m a big fan of your translation. You just proofreaded it and now it’s better. By the way, if you check out reddit, nobody complains about the grammar and stuffs anymore! I love your translations and I enjoy them. I don’t mind few errors. =)

If you think I don’t know what I’m talking about, try reading all of TateYuu (minus the first +- 35 chapters) straight from google trans, then try to complain again.

Do what you want to do, people will criticize you for doing it and people will criticize you for not doing it. Just make a choice and go through with it.
If you continue translating you may want to get an editor to help you out (I would volunteer to help you but I am already overwhelmed with the editing responsibilities that I already have)., or you can ignore the leachers that do nothing for the community.
haah another MTL Complain like this again huh, well something like this tend to happen sooner or later, as for me i fell grateful for you TLed something for use while sacrifice your precious time, i know the accuracy for MTL tend to bad and something unreadable but for you in my opinion still readable, in first place English isnt my first language so i tend to ignore Grammar in LN/WN as long still readable after all :v

Jeez, why do they even complain if they can just try to comprehend/understand it correctly base on the given machine translation. Jeez. That’s why it’s Machine Translation ~_~ people who can’t appreciate it are really dumb ~_~. I mean doesn’t that mean they don’t know English that much to not be able to understand the texts?
