That happends when you have too many apps in the background or the foreground one is too heavy (but mainly the background). And if your using custom ROM, well there also goes that to a fault… (Or even basic carrier ROM can kill everything).
Also my condolensces to you… (Tried using Google Docs? Idk if it might cloud-save in the fly but… maybe?)
