Hi, today is my holiday so I’ll just post the rules for our second contest.

Chain story!
I will come up with an opening introduction then You guys will continue the story..
The contest will start on tuesday 9:00 am GMT +7 and ends on wednesday9:00am GMT +7. The winner will be anounced the day after the contest ends.
Rules:
- Write no more than 100 words
- Can’t write for two post in a row
- Have a comments approved on the site prior the contest
- It should be made in comments NOT REPLY.
- State your post number
Corrected example:
Introduction story
User 1,post #1 bla bla bla
User 2, post #2
User 1, post # 3
User 3, post #3 (will still be judged)
User 2,post #4 should continue from user 1
User 4, post #5 post more than 100 words (disqualified)
User 3, post #6 continue from user 4
User 1, post without post number (disqualified)
User 2, post #7 continue from user 1
User 5, post #8
User 5, post #9 (disqualified)
User 3, post #10 continue from user 5
User 1, 4 and 5 post after being disqualified won’t be counted anymore so please don’t get disqualified and if you were disqualified, stop participating for fair play lol..
User who post without the post number will be disqualified however if someone continue, it should be where they left off, it won’t hinder the story flow. Same with the words exceeding commenter..
The story they post won’t be removed to maintain the story flow but they will be disqualified.. That way by mentioning the post number you have to be aware if someone post the # earlier than you, the story will be continued from the earlier post not yours however your post will still be judged.
On the example above, user 1 and 3 do the same post 3, user 2 have to continue the story from where user 1 left off. However user 3 post still in the judging..
You couldn’t write more than 100 words in one post. I will count manually with my fingers the total words in each post. Seriously using my fingers manually so it will be better if you count it too. Each comments more than 100 words will make you disqualified. Also, you couldn’t write two consecutive times. It doesn’t matter how much you post if you are posting after someone else.
To make sure that there is no problem when you post, make sure you already write a comment at least once. That is because each new commenter need to be approved before it was shown.
So,anyone that interested to participate, you better write a comment on this page first or your comment in the contest will be voided. Since it will need moderation before and will hinder the contest flow. (it will be better if you sign up for your participation by commenting in this post, if you see your post approved or shown up on this post then you’re on the game) .
Disqualified if:
- Write two post in a row
- Exceed 100 words in each post
- Failed to mention post number
- Haven’t commented before (your post won’t be approved)
The winner is someone who have :
- creative and original story idea
- control the flow of the story
- The one with the most ‘unique’ words.
These three points will be the judging criteria.
Creative and original is a must,we’re entering a new galaxy here.
Control the flow of the story as you wish, someone is trying to create a great setting? Destroy it with your evil mind!
What is ‘unique‘ words? Words that is unusual, and couldn’t be understood without opening the dictionary for their meaning. Hahahahaha.
So, we might have more than one winner based on the each criteria or only one excellent winner who dominate the judging criteria..
The prize is:
One chapter of your choice, it could be any machine translated or original works.
So, sign up by commenting on this post or anywhere on the site and have your comments approved. Open up your dictionary, and prepare your gun of unheard unfarmiliar unknown words. Remember, Follow the rules!

Interesting, but two questions:
First, should the “continuation comments” be submitted as replies to the comment prior, or should it be created as a new comment?
Second, If two people were to post at about the same time, we’ll have multiple chains of story. Should one of them be ignored (i.e. continue on whoever posted first/last) or should they all stay, creating a strange multiverse spawned from a common intro?
It should be made in comments since multiple chains story will outbreak in reply..
If two people post at the same time, the next commenter will be free to choose which one to continue from..
For ex:
-user 1 & user 2 post at the same time,
User 3 determine which one to continue or..
-user 1 or user 2 could write another post to outdo the previous post to flow in their favour..
What I mean is..
User 1 & user 2 post at the same time..
User 1: “darn” write another to change the user 2 story to flow to where he directed it first.. (altough I doubt that it will happen lol..unless we got dozens of participantsl
Just an info, your post is above 50 words and over 70..

Long post will be voided but won’t be deleted to maintain the story flow.. However the poster will be disqualified.. You better count your words hahaha..

Count me in 🙂 but this comment type is dangerous. If user 2and 3, read user 1 comment at the same time, they would chain their story to user 1. What about making a time limit between user’s post? So user 3 can change his chain from user 1 to user 2. And user 1 has to wait before chaining to user 3 new story
Hmm.. That’s a good idea.. So, should we make a cooldown time? Is three minutes enough?
But where’s the fun in seeing messed up story branch? Hahaha.. Let’s think of a system..

Have you got a list of registered members? If we reply to the Game post as normal then you can mark any disqualified post with your reply. Just a word or two is fine.
About word-counting, I think it’s quicker if you copy/paste each post onto microsoft word. The word count would appear immediately. Afterwards just erase the post and do it with the next one~ It’s better than picking your finger on the screen, though after a couple of posts you might be able to judge the word count based on its visual length anyway.
I can even see from visual that yours exceed 100 hahaha.. We got 5 member confirmed to participate.. Don’t worry for disqualified people they won’t be judged and I will reply to their first disqualified post telling them that they are disqualified..

In case the last post before mine has more than 100 words. Should I ignore it and continue the story from the previous one before that last post or still continue from that last post that obviously go against the rule
And I have a suggestion
How about all the post have to have a post number before to start to write the story
For ex
Post 1
Story bla bla bla
Then the next person has to write
Post 2 bla bla bla
I think this rule would help you to give judgemet easier and if some people really do post their story at the same time like you have pointed out before. It would surely help the next person to know that he has to choose from the post number since it would surely be same. That being said, post without post number should be ignored and be disqualified

Ah yeah.. The numbering sounds good.. For post more tha 100 words won’t affect the story flow however the commenter will be disqualified..

I’ll mess with their works. I will always put the same post number of the previous person in my work as an act of challenge. That way if my post happen to be the one chosen, then that would be excellent as there will be less and less people competing! Hahahahahaha :pops a smoke
O seems to be no disqualifacation to it? By the way, what happens if user 2 made a 360 turn from the story where it doesnt have any relation to user 1’s at all, will it still be counted as a continuation?
Yeah.. For ex: user 3 make the mc died.. User 4: come up with a new mc.. User 5: he go to sahara .. user 6: he was abducted by alien..

Question: are there any restriction on contents like gore, drugs, abusive words, and ero scenes? I want to know whether the event is meant to cater to younger audiences or whether it’s a free-for-all.
It’s free. I guess we’re all mature enough to decide which one is acceptable lol..
So are you saying that it’s fine if I made the MC smoke the dankest weed while hiring a prostitute and while the MC is busy getting it on with her, an elite goblin assasin crawls out of her ass and attempts to kill the MC? Apparently it was all a ploy to get the MC to let his guard down and remove his armor.
Yeah.. But seriously will it turn out like that if the setting is in middle ages where magic and dragon lives?
The fact that there is magic and dragon in the settings makes it even more likely. If it were sci-fi then instead of a goblin, it’d be a tentacle alien, no?
