Summoned Hero (rewrite) chapter 4

“Noooo! Stooop!”

As I let out a high pitched cries like a girl, lift my right foot across my body and extended my right hand forward while keeping the left to cover my eyes, the expected fire spell never arrived.

I can feel the heat generated from the scorching ball of fire in front of me. This is not a dream.

I got transported into another world but this is reality. As expected, I got a cheat like ability. It doesn’t seemed to be superhuman strength because I didn’t feel any changes in my body. It wasn’t enormous amount of magic ability since they said they couldn’t feel any magic emanated from my body. But I got a better ability. The ability to stop time.

I still need to figure out how to stop my power or the limitation of it though. However now isn’t the right time. I still need to pay them back. They really tried to kill me. I need to deliver some judgement.

An eye for an eye, a tooth for a tooth. As the saying goes, the price for attempting murder isn’t cheap. Even they said they wanted to test me out, it will clearly hit me if it hits.

I move from the spot I originally was.

First, I need to confirm that my power isn’t disabled upon contact. I tried to touch the girl’s hand since she is the one who seemed least dangerous. If she can move when I touched her, at least it was a girl so I might have a chance in winning. I touched her but she couldn’t move so my power couldn’t be released upon contact. I tried to move her hands and it was possible, so my power granted me some kind of control when the time is stopped.

I look outside of the hall and tried to find a balcony. What laid in front of my eyes is greenery, as far as my eyes could see. Yup, definitely I’m transported into another world. I wouldn’t be in a remote place in a jungle somewhere since the trees are kind of twisted and some even have mouths on them. This is not my original world. I can see a giant sized vulture flying in the distance so my power seemed to affected the area around me only.

Just from that simple observation I can conclude some things:

1. I was transported into another world
2. I got an ability to stop the flow of time in my surrounding

I don’t know how long will my power last though so I have to find it out later. Not here, definitely not inside the demon king castle that wants to kill me.

For the mage that have casted this spell, I will makes him eat his own spell. I dragged his stiff body like a mannequin and placed him in the spot where the fire ball will hit. In the process his eyes didn’t moved so I think he would be really confused when he realized what happened.

For the demon king, I put my fingers into my nose and brings out a black, small, and round substance. I will smear it on his face. Hahaha, take that.

As for the girl, should I groped her? take her panties? No, even though I was a pervert I won’t degraded myself that far. I know, the punishment for bad girls is spanking.

I grabbed her by her waist, lift her a bit and prepared the punishment. If you look from far, it was a kind of indecent scene but I didn’t have any malicious thoughts inside of my mind. I just want to teach her a lesson.

Or maybe a girl with cat ear and tail said: “would you take a bath first or dinner first nyaa?” Obviously I will reply I would have take my meal first while jumping at her. Oh no, my imagination is running wild. I need to regain myself.

On the way out, it seemed that my power isn’t released yet from the whole castle. After looting some kind of gold coins from one of the room that seemed to be the treasury, I walked out while humming.

Maybe my ability is stuck to the area surrounding me. I still need to test it out.

As  I get out from the castle, a guard with a dog head is frozen in its place too. Really, my power is terrifying. So, how to stop this? After some distance from the castle, the guard seemed to be still frozen in place while I can heard some screams. the scream coming from two man and one girl. it seemed that they have been freed from my power. as I expected the power is limited to the area around me. There must be a way to stop it to.

“Stop!”

I said that but it only freezes the trees surrounding me. So, maybe it was the reverse of stop.

“Resume!”

It’s not working.

“Play!”

As I said that, the laughing tree on my side which is laughing in the beginning, stopped when I said stopped,now laughed again. I can say that, my power only affected the area around me. If I move from the spot, it kinds of following me but with a really slow speed since the trees isn’t stopped. when I cast it again, the area will be forcibly moved to me again as the center. if I said ‘play’, the effect will be stopped.

Well, that’s enough for now. I will clearly enjoyed exploring this world with my ability.
