Way of the Power…

(Author notes: yes, I know I still have a lot of series unfinished but this is one that has been lingering in my mind. What is the best of Chinese novel? Cultivation, power rank, and mythical beast. Prologue

people in this world are born with 【Power】. Some are able to handle elements like fire, water, earth and wind. Some are able to increase their physical strength by tenfold. Some are able to curse others into stone, stealth, telekinesis, and other mysterious abilities. However, other people might have the same 【Power】 but using different application. Therefore, the 【Power】are divided into ranks based on their strength and potential. 「Normal」, 「Expert」, 「Master」, and 「Grand masters」. There is still a realm above them called 「Legendary」ranks and even the superstitious 「God」 rank power that is only told in myths and fairy tales. Each ranks have five level on it to tell someone power standing. Therefore, the highest power possible will be fifth level God rank power holder, if only God rank power is truly exist. Even throughout the history, there is only one man recorded to reach the first level of Legendary rank.

【Power】are usually discovered when a person has reach their seventh birthday. On this day, their 【Power】will be manifested and everyone in their family will be there to watch their talents unfolds. Of course everyone have different innate talent level. Some talented individuals can even find their 【Power】has reached the 「Expert」or even「Master」rank. It was the dividing points between standings, hierarchy and status in the community.

However as human gained 【Power】, so do the animals and beast in the world. Therefore, 『Mythical beast』 exist alongside mankind. They are the threat that lurking in the shadows. Human will have difficulties in their cultivation to reach higher rank but some powerful 『Mythical beast』will reach 「Master」or even「Grand masters」naturally as they aged. That is where the existence of 『Mythical beast』is feared by many.

Because of the threat coming from 『Mythical beast』, there are schools focusing on 【Power】 cultivation. Their graduates will be known as 『Beast Hunter』 which is the arrowhead of humanity against extinction. In these world where humans relied on their 【Power】, 【Power】itself has become the most important thing. Everyone is oblivious to this fact except for one boy. A boy that on his seventh birthday didn’t have his 【Power】manifested. The 「Powerless」one.
