And readers that say they like everything are the most dangerous… heheheheh… for me my personal fav would be the third choice, partly since I’m a science major. But the 1st choice actually has a lot of potential, but is also quite hard to pull off well. If you happen to be a fan of history, I would want to read your no.1.

since you like to make outsmarting or outwitt type scene i suggest you limit the means of the story advances to make the more creative twist appear. the genre doesn’t matter but it seems like you are very eager to make adult oriented one so just have it your way. creativity need enthusiasm.
one more suggestion from me is try to find a good editor. more than one is better since sometimes when we try so hard we overlook things that made our story climb a rope while there’s a stairs nearby.
The problem is, where the hell can i find an author?
