I am two years old now. It has been 2 years since I was reincarnated in this game like world. I already learnt the language of this world. And I could also walk.

 

I appraised my father and mother and their stats were quite average, I guess.

 

My father was a tall man with 190 cm height and he has a quite built. He had a golden short straight hairs. His facial expressions were quite average. I wouldn’t consider him someone ugly but I wouldn’t consider him someone handsome either. He is was the definition of an average looking man.

 

My mother was not as tall as my father. Her height was around 165 cm. I guess it was normal for a female. However she was a very beautiful woman. She had golden long straight hairs which drops until her waist. She had a slender body with fine curves. She was like an angel descended from heavens. I think she was wasted on my father.

 

“Zephyrus, dinner is ready.” My mother called out to me with her angelic soft voice. Well, even though it is called dinner, there was not much to eat. A simple wheat bread, a soup and some boiled vegetables I don’t recognise. They taste good though. Although the wheat breads are really hard to chew. It is troublesome. Damn you, God, or whatever you are. You told me to grant my wish but that was not my wish at all! This life is more troublesome than my previous life!!

 

After dinner, we went to bed early. I woke up at the usual time early in the morning. We ate breakfast. Although I call it breakfast, all we ate was plain wheat breads. Seriously, how can these people survive in this world? It is really troublesome. Anyway, my father and mother went to the farm field near our house to work. I went out to stroll around the village.

 

This village was called Remote Village. As the name suggested, this was really a remote village with around only 20 houses. Each house had 3-4 people in it, so its population was a mere 90 people. This should be even called a village? The houses in this “village” was all scattered around. All of the houses were near their own farm field. Practically all of the villagers in the village were farmers. They all built their houses near their farm field with crude manner and were living in them. Our house was at the most remote place of this remote village. Nearest house was almost 500 meters away from our house. There were around 4-5 children around my age but since they were all too stupid, I wasn’t getting involved with them. And since our house was at a quite remote area of this village, they weren’t coming to bother me. Which was a good thing for me.

 

There was a forest approximately 2 kilometers away from our house called Remote Forest. Seriously what is with this naming sense? Everything was named so casually. Anyway, since this was a game-like world, of course there were monsters in this forest. However they were relatively weak monsters such as goblins, horned rabbits, giant spiders etc. Even an average villager could survive against one of them if not killing it. Of course that is only if they encountered a single monster. If they were to encounter more than one monster, they wouldn’t survive since they had no combat related skills.

 

Strolling towards this forest was the only hobby of mine since I came to this world. Of course, I wouldn’t dare to venture inside it. I was only stroll around the edge of the forest. I would see some monsters time to time, but I would always run away out of the forest as soon as I saw them even though my speed was quite slow thanks to this damn unique skill [Sloth]. Still it was enough for me to run away since I wouldn’t go too deep into the forest. And for some strange reason, monster wouldn’t leave the forest. As soon as I got out of the forest, they would stop their pursuits. I asked about it to my parents but they didn’t know the reason either. They just said, that was how it was. And they had scolded me about going to the forest as well. I had apologized and promised not to go to the forest anymore but of course I didn’t keep my promise and I kept on strolling to the forest.
