Episode 1: Sudden death
My name is Sato Yu, 12 years old.
I know it’s sudden but right now I’m dying…
I can feel my consciousness fading away. The person I see in front of me is that man. It is the man that always threatens my father-in-law to pay his debt. He speaks to me nonchalantly.
“I’m sorry, I have no choice. I have to do this. Just consider it as paying your father’s debt.” – then he makes an ugly face while laughing.
The last thing that crosses my mind was about the people in the world. There are only two types of people. The first ones are those, who are always being deprived. The second ones are those, who deprive others. If only I had another chance… I’d take away all of the feelings of deprivation… While I was thinking about my deprivation for the last time, I succumbed into darkness.
. . . . . . . . .
I have woken up and found myself on the bed. I quickly checked myself. I’m pretty sure that I’m not in a hospital. I looked out from the plain window and all I could see were trees, a forest, to be exact.
“Oh, you have woken up!”
That words came from a kind-looking elder. She said that I was brought back here, because I fell from the sky in the woods. She thought that I was a fairy because of my black hair. So, why is it because of my black hair?
After talking for a bit with her I find it quite interesting. This place is not Japan. It’s not even Earth. This place is called Resser village of Furem continent. Even though I’m just an elementary student, at least I know the names of the Earth’s continents. I’m now on another planet.
The language they speak is not Japanese. Why am I able to understand what she said, I don’t quite get as well. When she said that there are no humans with black hair and eyes in this world, I’ve become pretty sure that this is no longer the same world, in which I used to live.
The most convincing reason? When I look at grandma Stella, a weird information window is being shown in front of me.

Unknown world? The Earth, from which I originate, is an unknown planet? It’s not like I am planning on finding a way back to my home planet, so that’s fine even if it’s unknown. With the basic game knowledge that I possessed, it was enough to understand my status. In this new world. I’ll be the one depriving.
(tl notes: I’m not sure why he said he’ll take all depriving feelings while in this last sentence he said he’ll become the deprived maker or making people feeling deprived. We better see what he mean by that then.
Anyway, got better idea for the name of the series?)

The last thing I thought of, in this world there are 2 kinds of people, those who robs and those who are robbed from. I am from those who are robbed from, I already only been robbed from. This time, the time if i’m reborn I will be on the side of… one who robs. I strongly thought so as my counciousness sank in to darkness.
and the last sentence “In this new world, I’ll be on the side who robs”
I think something like this sounds better.
Ah, i seem to be caught on the word rob rather than deprive, well it’s easy to change to deprive instead 🙂

I don’t get it…. what did he mean by father in law when he’s only 12? he’s not married right.. or is there a different meaning… wait did i read it wrong?!

I found this novel by chance. Im extremely happy to find such a story. I dunno what to expect
when I was 12 I had just finished beating Zelda and enjoying console games. I don’t know where some writers get the whole idea of kids between 10 and 14 knowing anything about MMORPG’s or even Status screens 😛 I mean you would basically have to raise your kid on video games and that can’t be healthy.
Also, yet another example of an old person writing for a young protagonist. could he be any more laid back and collected? lol “oh, I’m in a new world. thats nice I guess.” never mind the fact that he’s 12 and probably still has trouble understanding reading and writing let alone how he’ll feed himself or live in this new and confusing place.
Might seem like I’m ranting but the truth is I like this story so far, if I didn’t like it I would not have taken the time to write this much. I think it is interesting that the MC has a goal already in mind and he even has a bit of depth. I just think that he should act immature, seeing as he’s a stupid 12 year old. Don’t lie you were stupid then too.

First thing first how come a 12 year old has the same intelligence as an old person with lots of life experience?
2nd: Am i the ONLY one who find it wierd that the granny has higher agility than the kid?
3rd: Japan kid, even if not ever played a game comercials has tons of gamestuff, also kids now and kids then… ive worked in a kindergarden and the children there knew much better how to operate ipads and smartphones than any of the adults there.
