summoned hero chapter 61
After that, Caithlyn take me to K.K secret hideout. it took us almost half a day on foot. I asked her to waited outside while I entered alone, taking advantage of my unimportant existence.
“You have finally come the hero of the demon.”
the owner of that voice is familiar. I turned my body and found him.
“Oh, K.K. how can you talk like that knowing that you will meet your end in my hands today.”
“Is that true? You never think why did I betrayed the demon side?”
taking into consideration that K.K ability isn’t actually that great, that makes me wonder too.
“Let me introduce someone to you Kuro.”
then, from behind the shadow a figure appear.
it was a young man wearing green sleeveless shirt and blue jeans. he looked like someone coming from Japan but he lived 20 years ago. his brown hair seemed familiar somehow.
“Kuro, let me introduce him. his name is Hiroyuy. you might have heard about him. he also goes by the name of ‘the spear’.”
I remembered Valeera told me about them. he is one of the demon that rebelled and join hands with the human. the rebel vanguard. one of them is called the spear, which excel in earth magic.
“I know him. I’ve heard about him.”
“That makes it easier then. as you have guessed, I have betrayed the demon side and join the human.”
“I’ve realized that fact by now. my only question is, why? you already have your position as one of the demon generals. why did you betray your own kind?”
the next answer of K.K really taken me by surprise.
“Of course it was the same reason why the rebel vanguard rebelled. that’s because no matter how hard we try, we can’t be in a higher position than the demon lord. the human side believes that all race is equal and there is no different between a king and a peasant. while in the demon side, no matter what is your position, you still serve under the demon lord.”
oh no, did he get brainwashed by something called communism? where everyone is equal. but, history have proven that it was all only a dream. there will always be a hierarchy.
that’s why we’re human. we always wanted to be in a higher position than others. jealousy, greed, that what makes us human. well, maybe for K.K who is a demon, that was a kind of dream. afterall I don’t know just how long he has been serving under the demon lord. I might be thinking of the same thing to if I served under someone for more than fifty years.
“is that your choice?”
“Of course! if not, how can the spear of the rebel vanguard be here? now, it’s your turn Hiroyuy!”
“Remember K.K, we’re equal. you are in no place to order me.”
“Yes yes, sorry I’m forgot.”
“Never mind. i also wanted to try out the strength of the hero of the demon.”
Hiroyuy look is like a teenager boy. however he have horn popping out from behind his hair. his red eyes also looked at me with a thick bloodlust.
“Omae O Korosu!”
did he just said something in Japanese just now? I didn’t misheard something right?
it all sound familiar. that appearance, that catchprase saying that I will kill you.
in a few second, Hiroyuy body is covered by rocks from the surrounding area. at first I thought that it was a normal rock, before it turned shiny like a metal. as I heard he is able to use earth magic, it seemed that he is able to control the minerals inside the earth and for this one he seemed to be using metal as the base of his magic.
his thin figure is covered by shiny metalic rocks and slowly but sure the number accumulates. his body becomes bigger and bigger. in a few seconds, he is transformed into a giant.
i know this feeling. I know that giant robot like form.
he couldn’t be He*ro Yuy from G*ndam W*ngs right?
short ass ch wise was a bit longer but good surprise at the end
